What the scheme supports
The official Fondi.eu page describes Digitalise your SME as a scheme for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises that want to improve resilience, efficiency, productivity and customer experience through digital capabilities and digitalised processes.
For Promptly clients, this can include custom portals, workflow automation, APIs, AI-assisted operations, reporting dashboards, secure document systems, and selected hardware solutions where the hardware forms part of the digitalisation project.
Cash grant refund rates
Eligible projects can receive a cash grant refund of 50% excluding VAT. If the system includes eligible AI usage, a further 10% can be added, bringing the refund to 60%. If the business is located or has its registered office in Gozo, another 10% can apply, bringing an AI-enabled Gozo project up to 70%.
- 50% base refund on eligible costs excluding VAT.
- 60% when the approved project includes eligible AI usage.
- 70% where the AI-enabled project also qualifies for the Gozo top-up.
